We’ve been very impressed after installing a few under-system poultry manure scraper systems over the past few months, so we decided to set one up in our workshop to clearly illustrate how they work, and the benefits of having one installed.

The system can be installed in an existing climate and production controller, or with a stand-alone control panel. This allows you to set regular intervals during the day at which you can run your scrapers.

The scraper system can be integrated into most types of free-range laying systems with minor modifications
needed.

The manure removal system will run the full length of your aviary system with a drive motor at one end, gradually pushing the muck to the opposite end – ready for removal from the house.

Ultimately resulting in a better living environment for the birds. We all know happy birds lay better and more eggs!

Regular removal of unwanted dust from the house will create a better living environment for your birds, and your workers spending time in the sheds on a regular basis.

Removing unwanted wet manure from the floor will significantly improve the air quality in your sheds, creating a
pleasant environment and happy birds!

Fewer under-system eggs

Reducing the amount of excessive litter under the system will aid in your birds less likely to want to lay eggs under your system. Less time crawling around picking up floor eggs in those hard-to-reach places!

Less manual work for workers

Making it easier to manage litter quality through the house, the scrapers will remove unwanted muck and dust meaning less time moving clean shavings around and crawling under the system collecting floor eggs.

The scrapers are made with galvanized steel, specifically designed to remove unwanted manure on a very regular basis.
The entire system is robust and easy to install with very low maintenance needed from the farm.
